Enter cell references - OpenOffice.org Calc

How-To: Enter cell references - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. It is easy to enter a cell reference to a cell or formula.
  2. To do this first double click on the cell where you want the formula or cell reference to be in.
  3. Next, type in the equal sign (=) to start a formula.
  4. Now, move to the cell you want to reference to.
  5. In this example we are using this cell with the value $79.00. Click on it once.
  6. Notice that the cell's reference has automatically been typed into the formula.
  7. Once you press enter the cell will reflect the value of the cell reference. As you can see its value is $79.00 like the cell we selected.
  8. Also remember that when you click once on this cell again...
  9. You will see the formula with the cell reference here at the formula bar.
