How-To: Enter cell references - OpenOffice.org Calc
- It is easy to enter a cell reference to a cell or formula.
- To do this first double click on the cell where you want the formula or cell reference to be in.
- Next, type in the equal sign (=) to start a formula.
- Now, move to the cell you want to reference to.
- In this example we are using this cell with the value $79.00. Click on it once.
- Notice that the cell's reference has automatically been typed into the formula.
- Once you press enter the cell will reflect the value of the cell reference. As you can see its value is $79.00 like the cell we selected.
- Also remember that when you click once on this cell again...
- You will see the formula with the cell reference here at the formula bar.
- Great! You have learned how to enter cell references into cells or formulas.
