Close a spreadsheet - OpenOffice.org Calc

How-To: Close a spreadsheet - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. You can close a spreadsheet without having to close Calc itself.
  2. To do this, move your mouse on the the close spreadsheet icon here. It appears as a black "X".
  3. CAUTION! However must be taken that you DO NOT click on this red "X" button since this will close OpenOffice Calc.
  4. Now, just click here on the close spreadsheet button once.
  5. Now, if you haven't saved your document yet, OpenOffice will ask you first if you want to save it.
  6. You can click on "Save" to save your document, "Discard" to ignore the changes or "Cancel" to keep the spreadsheet open.
  7. For this example we are clicking on "Save"
  8. Great! The spreadsheet has now closed.
