How-To: Close a spreadsheet - OpenOffice.org Calc
- You can close a spreadsheet without having to close Calc itself.
- To do this, move your mouse on the the close spreadsheet icon here. It appears as a black "X".
- CAUTION! However must be taken that you DO NOT click on this red "X" button since this will close OpenOffice Calc.
- Now, just click here on the close spreadsheet button once.
- Now, if you haven't saved your document yet, OpenOffice will ask you first if you want to save it.
- You can click on "Save" to save your document, "Discard" to ignore the changes or "Cancel" to keep the spreadsheet open.
- For this example we are clicking on "Save"
- Great! The spreadsheet has now closed.
