How-To: Delete cells - OpenOffice.org Calc
- To delete cells, first you must select them.
- To do this, click and hold the left mouse button on one of the cells and then move through the other cells you want selected.
- Afterwards, release the mouse button.
- Next, click here on "Edit."
- On the menu that opens click on "Delete Cells..."
- The delete cells window appears. This lets you decide how other cells will behave once the selected cells have been deleted.
- For this example we are choosing the option "Shift cells left" just click on it once.
- Afterwards, just press OK.
- Great! Notice that our selected cells have been deleted, and the cells to the right of it have shifted left to replace them
- Congratulations! You have learned how to delete cells.
