How-To: Delete cells using the keyboard - OpenOffice.org Calc
- To delete cells using the keyboard, first you must select the cells to be deleted.
- To do this, move your mouse over one of the cells and click and hold the left mouse button.
- Next, while holding the button move your mouse through the other cells to be deleted.
- Just release the mouse button once you are finished selecting. Afterwards press the "delete" key (del) to delete the cells.
- The delete contents window should open.
- Click on the checkbox for "Delete all" to erase everything in this cell.
- Afterwards click on "OK."
- Great! The all the cell's contents has been deleted.
