How-To: Assign cell styles using the fill format mode - OpenOffice.org Calc
- To assign cell styles using the fill format mode, first click here on "Format."
- Then, on the menu that opens, click on "Styles and Formatting"
- Once the styles and formatting window opens, look for the name of the style you want to apply and click on it once.
- Next, look for the paintbucket icon here. This is the "Fill Format Mode" button, click on it once to activate it.
- Now, move your mouse to the sheet, and look for the cells you want to assign the style to. Then, click and hold the left mouse button over one of those cells.
- Next, while holding the button, move your mouse over the other cells that need to be assigned a style.
- Once you're done, just release the mouse button. Great! We have formatted these cells via the fill format mode.
- Once finished, close the styles and formatting window by clicking here on the close button.
- Congratulations! You have learned how to assign cell styles using the fill format mode.
