How-To: OpenOffice Tutorial: Merge Cells
  1. To merge cells first you must select them.
  2. To do this, first click and hold the left mouse button on one of the cells.
  3. Now, while holding the button, move your mouse towards the other cells you want to merge.
  4. Once you've selected all the cells you want. Just release the mouse button.
  5. Next, click on Format.
  6. On the menu that opens, click on "Merge Cells"
  7. Great! The cells have been merged into one.
  8. Congratulations! You have learned how to merge cells.
