How-To: Move cells - OpenOffice.org Calc
- To move cells, first you must select them.
- Select cells by clicking and holding the left mouse button over one of them.
- Then, while holding the button move your mouse towards the other cells you want selected.
- Just release the mouse button when you are done.
- Next, click on "Edit"
- Afterwards, on the menu that opens click on "Cut"
- Good. Notice that the cells here have been "cut"
- Now, choose the location where you want the cells to be moved. Take care when choosing so that no other cell may be overwritten when you eventually place the cells we are moving.
- Just click once on the location to select it.
- Now, click on "Edit" once again.
- On the edit menu, click on "Paste"
- Great! As you can see we have moved the cells to this location.
- Congratulations! You have learned how to move cells.
