How-To: Move cells using the drag and drop method - OpenOffice.org Calc
- It is possible to move cells using the "drag and drop" method.
- To do this first you must select the cells.
- Now, select cells by clicking and holding the left mouse button over one of them and then moving the mouse to the other cells .
- Once the cells you need are selected, release the mouse button.
- Great! Now, to start dragging these cells to another location, click and hold the left mouse button once again over them. Afterwards move the mouse.
- While moving the mouse, you should see an outline over the cells. This indicates where the selected cells will be placed once you release the mouse button.
- Now, just move the mouse to the location where you want to move the cells we selected.
- Once over the location, release the mouse button to place the selected cells here.
- Great! We have moved the cells using the drag and drop method.
