How-To: Move cells using the drag and drop method - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. It is possible to move cells using the "drag and drop" method.
  2. To do this first you must select the cells.
  3. Now, select cells by clicking and holding the left mouse button over one of them and then moving the mouse to the other cells .
  4. Once the cells you need are selected, release the mouse button.
  5. Great! Now, to start dragging these cells to another location, click and hold the left mouse button once again over them. Afterwards move the mouse.
  6. While moving the mouse, you should see an outline over the cells. This indicates where the selected cells will be placed once you release the mouse button.
  7. Now, just move the mouse to the location where you want to move the cells we selected.
  8. Once over the location, release the mouse button to place the selected cells here.
  9. Great! We have moved the cells using the drag and drop method.
