How-To: Reset the default spreadsheet template - OpenOffice.org Calc
- It is possible to reset the default spreadsheet template to the original blank spreadsheet by using the template management window.
- In this example, the spreadsheet you see here is the default spreadsheet template when you open a new spreadsheet.
- We are going to change this, but first let's close the spreadsheet, by clicking on the close document button here.
- Now, click on File on the menu bar above, and then on Templates. Afterwards, you should see this side menu appear, click on "Organize..."
- Once the template management window appears, right click over the folder, "My Templates."
- Next, on the menu that opens, move your mouse over the option, "Reset Default Template."
- Then, you should see the type of documents that can be reset to default appear on a side menu. Just click once on "Spreadsheet."
- Once done, just click on "Close."
- Good. Now, let's test if the reset worked by opening a new spreadsheet. Just click on the New Document button and click on "Spreadsheet."
- Great! As you can see, the default blank spreadsheet template has opened. The reset worked. Congratulations!
