How-To: Save a spreadsheet as a template - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. To save a spreadsheet as a template, first click here on "File."
  2. Then, on the menu that opens, move your mouse over the option "Templates."
  3. A side menu should appear. Look for the "Save..." option and click on it once.
  4. The templates window should appear.
  5. Now, click on this field and type in the name you want for the spreadsheet template.
  6. Afterwards, just click on "OK"
  7. Great! This spreadsheet has been saved as a template.
