How-To: Align objects to the top - OpenOffice.org Draw
- To align objects to the top of the drawing relative to their positions, first you need to select them.
- In this example, we are selecting all the objects at once by drag selecting them. To do this, click and hold the left mouse button in one corner of the drawing.
- Now, while holding the button move your mouse across the drawing, through the objects.
- A dashed outline or "selection box" should appear to guide you on what will be selected. When the objects are within this area release the mouse button.
- Good! Once all the objects you need are selected, click here on "Modify."
- Then, on the menu opens, move your mouse over the option "Alignment."
- A side menu should then appear. Look for the option "Top" and click on it once.
- Great! The objects have aligned themselves to the top based on the topmost object. Congratulations!
