How-To: Align objects to the top using the toolbar - OpenOffice.org Draw
  1. To align objects to the top relative to their postions, using the toolbar, first select one of them by clicking on it once.
  2. Next, hold down the shift key on the keyboard and then click on the other objects you need selected.
  3. Afterwards, move your mouse towards this button here.
  4. This is the alignment button, click on the down arrow beside it to view the different alignment options.
  5. Once the menu drops down, look for the option "Top" and click on its button once.
  6. Great! The objects have aligned themselves to the top based on the top most object. Congratulations!
