How-To: Align objects to the vertical center using the toolbar - OpenOffice.org Draw
- To vertically center align objects relative to their positions using the toolbar, first select one of the objects by clicking on it once.
- Next, select the other objects you want aligned by pressing and holding the shift key on the keyboard and then clicking on each of them.
- Once you are done selecting, release the shift key.
- Next, move your mouse to the toolbar here, and look for the alignment button. It should look something like this. Click on the down arrow beside the button to view the alignments.
- You should see six alignment options. For this example we are clicking on the "Center" (not "centered") button.
- Great! As you can see, the objects have aligned themselves to the vertical center relative to their positions. Congratulations!
