How-To: Close a drawing using the close button - OpenOffice.org Draw
  1. To close a drawing using the close button, first look for the "X" button here.
  2. This is the "Close" document button. Take note that this is different from the red and white "X" button above which closes the application.
  3. Just click here on the close button once to close the drawing.
  4. If there are changes that you haven't saved yet, you should see a window asking you if you want to save them.
  5. Just click on the choice you want. For this example we are clicking on the option "Save."
  6. If your drawing is a new and unnamed document, the "Save As" window should open. In this area, choose the location where you want to save your drawing by navigating through the folders.
  7. Next, click on this field and type in a file name for your drawing.
  8. Once you're done, click here on "Save."
  9. Great! The drawing has been saved and closed with the help of the close button. Congratulations!
