How-To: Draw Block Arrow Shapes - OpenOffice.org Draw
- To quickly draw different kinds of arrows, first you have to find the "Block Arrows Toolbar."
- It is found here beside the arrow shape or the "Block Arrow Button."
- Just move your mouse over the down arrow to open the toolbar.
- Now, click on the arrow once.
- The Block Arrows Toolbar appears.
- Here you can find different kinds of arrows that you can put into your drawing.
- As an example, we are choosing this arrow.
- This will help you create a "Left and Right" arrow as shown in its icon.
- Just click on it once.
- Note that the "Block Arrows Button" will show you the type of arrow you have chosen to draw.
- Now move your mouse to the drawing area and choose the spot where you want to put the top-left corner of your arrow shape.
- Once you have chosen the spot, simply click and hold the left mouse button then move your mouse.
- A ghost of the arrow appears while you are holding the mouse button. Just move your mouse to bring the arrow shape to the size you want.
- Once you are satisfied with the size, just release the left mouse button and the arrow is finished. Congratulations! You can now draw arrows easily!
