How-To: OpenOffice Tutorial: Draw Object Connector
  1. To draw object connectors, first you must find the "Connectors Button."
  2. You can find it here.
  3. Click once on this "down arrow" to bring up the "Connectors Toolbar."
  4. Here you will find several Connectors to choose from.
  5. As an example we are just going to pick a simple Connector. Just click on it once.
  6. Now move you mouse to the drawing area. Click and hold the left mouse button on the first object you want to connect.
  7. Still holding the mouse button, move your mouse to "drag" the connector to the second object.
  8. Once the mouse is over the second object, just release the mouse button to finish drawing the connector.
  9. Great! We now have a connector between these two objects.
  10. Notice that when you move objects that are connected, the connector follows suit.
  11. This will make it easier when you are adjusting the objects' positions.
  12. Great! You can now draw Connectors.
