How-To: OpenOffice Tutorial: Draw Rectangle
  1. To draw a rectangle shape, first you must find the "Rectangle Button."
  2. You can find it here in the Drawing Bar. It's the one with the rectangle icon.
  3. Just click on it once.
  4. Now, move your mouse to the drawing area. Pick the spot where you want to put one corner of your rectangle.
  5. Once you have picked the spot, click and hold the left mouse button.
  6. While holding the mouse button, move the mouse to start creating the rectangle. A ghost of it appears to guide you.
  7. Now, just release the mouse button to finish creating the rectangle. Congratulations! You have created a rectangle.
