Anchor
An Anchor is the basis of the position and behavior of an object, image or frame within a document. It makes the object, such as an image move with the object it is anchored to, such as a paragraph.
The anchor is symbolized by a gray box with an image of an
anchor inside it. This anchor-box is only visible, if the
object
is selected.
All inserted objects, images
or
frames
have a default anchor.
An anchored object will move when the item moves that it is anchored to.
Objects can be anchored to a page
,
a paragraph
, a frame
, and
a character. A special case
is anchoring an object as a character.
The default anchor is anchor to paragraph.
