OpenOffice.org
consists of different applications or modules.
The applications share a common user interface. The applications in OpenOffice.org 2.0
are Writer
for editing text documents,
Impress
for presentations,
Draw
for vector based graphics,
Math
for formulas,
Calc
for editing spreadsheets,
and Base
for database reports and applications.
Each application corresponds to a document type. For example, use the file open dialog to open a text document. Then you see by definition the menus and toolbars of OpenOffice.org Writer.
