It offers the ability to enter data, numerical or otherwise and calculate derived values from it. One can manipulate data such as sorting, calculate sum, average, count, deviation and much more.
Calc can be used to create forms, such as an expense report
or a time sheet using formatting of text and borders
.
Such forms can be printed as template or filled out using Calc itself.
Further more Calc offers a package to create charts
and graphs from the data in a spreadsheet.
