Circle
A Circle is a two dimensional shape formed by all points with the same distance from a single point called the center. The distance between a point and the center is called the radius, while all the points which comprise the shape make up the circumference of the circle.
A circle is a fairly common shape. Most of the time it is
interpreted as all points that are within the circle's circumference.
When drawing in two dimensions a circle is also used to represent spherical
or “Round” objects. A circle is similar but still different from
an Ellipse
.
OpenOffice.org Draw lets you draw circles via the
draw circle button in the drawing bar. Circles are drawing
objects
that can be sized
to different proportions.
