Command Line
The command line is a user interface where text or "commands" are typed and entered
into the computer to interact and gain actions from it. The command line is basically
an operating system
unto itself as you can
explore and manage files using it, as well as execute actions and run programs from it.
The command lines in use today are reminiscent of the earlier operating system called the disk operating system or "DOS" and a lot of the commands used then are still applicable now.
You can run and execute several specific actions in the command line in tandem with OpenOffice. See the screencasts below for more information.
