A database record is a set of related
data fields
in a
database
.
For example a row in a database
table
with name and address fields
is a database record.
A database record is also called a database row or a table row
.
The result of a database query that contains a single table and all fields in the table is a set of records.
Simple database forms
show a single record of a table or allow editing
or creation of a new record.
