Dialog
A dialog "box" or window is a special window
where you can direct an application to do various actions.
A dialog can be initiated by a user by accessing it to through a menu
such as the case with the Open Office Options Dialog window.
Sometimes though, a dialog box may automatically appear. In these instances, the dialog window needs
an input from the user. This may just be a reminder that you need to be informed with, or sometimes
it is about crucial errors or inputs that need your attention.
OpenOffice.org like most other applications
use dialog windows to get inputs from users.
