Field Name

A field name is the name of a in a document.

A field name can be freely chosen, however it is customary to describe the type of expected , because the field name also serves as it label.

For example, if you want to use a field for a recipient's e-mail address, you would name the field "Email Address."

You can toggle OpenOffice to view the field names or the field values in a document.

A field name is similar but not the same to the concept of for input fields in database
