File Value
A Field value is particular input that replaces a
field
in the processing.
for example, in a text document the field value replaces the
field name
when
printing the document.
Typically, when you create a new document from a template you enter values for all fields. Off course you can add any other content to this new document.
You can toggle OpenOffice to view the field names or the field values in a document.
A field value can also be the input to an input field in a dialog. In this context the field value is used to fully specify the command.
