Hover
Hovering, is a gesture where the mouse pointer rests at a certain location, typically over a particular UI element. Hovering does not involve clicking any buttons on the mouse.
Hovering over a UI element like a
button
can change the button's
appearance, such as drawing a frame.
Sometimes hovering for a short period of time over an object,
such as a button,
activates help tips
that resents more information regarding the action performed when
clicking that button.
