Microsoft Access Database (.mdb)
The ".mdb" file format is the file format used by Microsoft Access for storing databases. Database files, basically store information about a database. This includes the data tables, forms, reports, queries, and other properties a typical database should have.

- Access 2007 Database - (.accdb)
- Access 2007 Database "Execute Only" - (.accde)
- Access 2007 Template - (.accdt)
- Access 2007 Database "Runtime" - (.accdr)

OpenOffice.org Base can open a Microsoft Access database by using the "connect to database" feature. As always there is the possibility of some loss of data depending on the file being opened.
