Pixel Graphic

A pixel graphic is a graphical image defined by a raster of pixels.

Pixel graphics are used to define images on screen and in print. Each coordinate in a raster is a pixel. Typical devices working with pixel graphics are Monitors, LCD displays, printers, digital cameras and digital video recorders.

Pixel graphics store a color value for each pixel. This makes the graphic fixed in size and resolution. In situations where this is not acceptable you should use instead.
