Spreadsheet
A spreadsheet (or
sheet
) is a
grid of cells that can be filled with data.
Some fields can be derived from other fields through a formula.
A spreadsheet automatically re-calculates
dependent fields, when a data value changes.
In the OpenOffice.org suite, spreadsheet documents are created and edited with
Calc. Each document can
contain multiple sheets.
Spreadsheets can contain numeric as well as alpha numeric data. They can also contain graphical representations such as bar graphs or pie charts, directly depending on the data.
