Spreadsheet

A spreadsheet (or ) is a grid of cells that can be filled with data. Some fields can be derived from other fields through a formula. A spreadsheet automatically re-calculates dependent fields, when a data value changes.

In the OpenOffice.org suite, spreadsheet documents are created and edited with . Each document can contain multiple .

Spreadsheets can contain numeric as well as alpha numeric data. They can also contain graphical representations such as bar graphs or pie charts, directly depending on the data.
