Style
Open Office Writer styles are sets of formatting rules that can be applied to your work.
Styles include instructions for the size and face of fonts, the spacing between lines, the indents from the side of the page, etc. You can choose styles to apply to your work from the stylist fly-out menu.
Usually when creating a new document the style is set to default. This setting carries no special instructions in terms of formatting except that the font is at Times New Roman with the font size of 12. Other styles are available for headings, body of the text, titles, lists, table of contents and other common formatting styles. Experiment with the styles to see what you may prefer.
