Layout a slide with a title and a text block above an object - OpenOffice.org Impress

How-To: Layout a slide with a title and a text block above an object - OpenOffice.org Impress
  1. This screencast demonstrates how to layout a slide with a title and a text block above an object.
  2. First, please take note that we are in the layouts section of the task window here. If this is not open, just look for the layouts tab and click on it once to view the pre-set layouts that are available.
  3. Now to start, look for the layout you want here. The layouts have icons that more or less show you how that layout looks like. Also moving your mouse over them for a while should reveal a tool tip to guide you.
  4. For this example, we are clicking on the opton "Title, Text Above Object."
  5. Great! As you can see, the layout has changed. We have a title, some text, and a space for an object below.
  6. Just double-click on the object area if you want to add an object.
  7. Congratulations! You have learned how to assign layouts to slides.
