How-To: Set the date and time format of the slide to variable (dynamic) - OpenOffice.org Impress
- To set the date and time format of the footer to variable or dynamic, first click here on "View."
- Next, on the menu that opens click on the option, "Header and Footer..."
- The header and footer window should open. In the "Slide" tab, make sure that the "Date and Time" option has been enabled to appear. Then, look for the "Variable" option located here and click on it.
- Once enabled, you can choose a date and time format by clicking on this down arrow, and then clicking on the option you want in the list.
- You can also choose the language of the date and time by clicking on this down arrow and clicking on the language you want.
- Once you're done, click here on "Apply to All."
- Great! The date has appeared on the footer. This should apply to all slides.
- Please remember that since we have chosen the variable or dynamic date and time option, the date and time will always synchronize with the computer where the presentation is open.
- Congratulations! You have learned how to set the format of the date and time to variable or dynamic.
