How-To: Assign a character style using the style and formatting window - OpenOffice.org
- This screencast demonstrates how to apply character styles to text, using the "Styles and Formatting" window.
- First, you must have the styles and formatting window open. You can do this by pressing "F11" on the keyboard.
- Now to start, click on the "Character styles" button here. Look for the button with the lettter "A."
- Now, select the text or characters that you want to format. Click and hold the left mouse button over one side of the text and then move your mouse across them.
- Once the text you need is selected, release the mouse button.
- Next, go the style and formatting window, and double click on the character syle that you want to apply.
- Great! The character style has been applied to the text. Congratulations!
