How-To: Assign a paragraph style using the style and formatting window - OpenOffice.org
  1. This screencast demonstrates how to assign paragraph styles using the styles and formatting window.
  2. First, remember to open the styles and formatting window. You can do this by pressing "F11" on the keyboard.
  3. Now, to start assigning a style to a paragraph, select the paragraph by clicking on any part of it.
  4. Then, if it is not open yet, click on the "paragraph styles" button here on the styles and formatting window.
  5. Next, double click on the paragraph style that you want to assign.
  6. Great! The paragraph style has been changed.
  7. Take note though that only the paragraph we selected has been changed. The others near it are unchanged.
  8. Great! You have learned how to assign paragraph styles to paragraphs. Congratulations!
