- This screencast demonstrates how to disable the automatic capitalization of the first character in text.
- First notice, that when we enter some text...
- ...the first character is automatically capitalized.
- Now, to disable this feature, first click on "Tools."
- Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "AutoCorrect..."
- The "AutoCorrect" window should appear. Next, click on the "Options" tab if it is not open yet.
- Look for the option "Capitalize first letter of every sentence." Uncheck it by clicking on its checkbox.
- Afterwards, click on "OK."
- Good! Now, if we enter some more lower case text...
- You should see that the first character was not automatically capitalized. Congratulations!
