How-To: Disable the warning when not saving in the default file format - OpenOffice.org
- To disable the warning that appears when you are not saving in the default file format, first click on the "Tools" option here.
- Then, on the menu that drops down, click on the option "Options..."
- The Open Office options dialog window should open.
- You should see a menu tree on this side of the window. We shall first close the main OpenOffice.org options menu by clicking on the minus sign beside it.
- Now, look for the "Load/Save" option and click on the plus sign beside it to view the options under the category.
- Next, click on the "General" option.
- Good! You should see several saving and loading options appear on this side of the window.
- Under the save options, look for the checkbox for the option "Warn when not saving in OpenDocument or default format."
- Uncheck the checkbox by clicking on it once.
- Afterwards, click on "OK."
- Great! We have disabled the warning that appears when not saving in the default file format. Congratulations!
