How-To: Uninstalling Open Office on Windows
- To uninstall Open Office on Windows, first click on "Start."
- Then on the menu that pops up, click on the "Control Panel."
- Once the Control Panel Opens, click on "Add or Remove Programs."
- Once the "Add and Remove" window opens, search for OpenOffice.org in the list of installed programs.
- Once you see OpenOffice.org click on it.
- After clicking you will see extra information and options for Open Office.
- To start Uninstalling click on the "Remove" button.
- A window appears asking for confirmation. Click "Yes" to confirm.
- Now just wait until the uninstallation finishes.
- Once it has finished, we can check if the uninstallation was succesful by trying to refresh the installed programs list.
- First try clicking back to the "Control Panel" window.
- ...and then by clicking back to the "Add or Remove Programs" window.
- As you can see Open Office has been removed from the Installed programs list.
- Now just close the windoe by click on the X icon in the window.
- You have finished Uninstalling Open Office.
