- This screencast demonstrates the procedure on how to insert a greek character using the symbol catalog here.
- For this example we are going to replace this letter "a" with the greek character "alpha." To do this, first we select the letter by drag selecting it using the mouse.
- Next, click on the "symbols catalog" button here.
- Once the catalog opens, look for the symbol you want to insert, and click on it once to select it.
- Afterwards, click here on "Insert."
- Good! If you notice behind the window, the markup language for the greek character has been inserted.
- You can continue on inserting symbols using this procedure. Otherwise, once done, click on "Close."
- Great! As you can see we have inserted the greek character "alpha" to our formula. Congratulations!
