How-To: Save a formula in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 format (.sxm) - OpenOffice.org Math
- To save a formula in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 format or as an "sxm" file, first click on the "File" option here.
- Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "Save As..."
- The "save as" window should open. Now, if you want to change the file name for the file you are about to create, click on this field here and type in the name you want.
- Next, click on this down arrow here for the "Save as type" field.
- You should see a list of file types that you can choose from. Click on the option "OpenOffice.org 1.0 formula (.sxm)"
- Afterwards, just click here on "Save."
- A warning may appear telling you that some formatting and content of the formula cannot be saved in the format you chose.
- To save our file in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 format however, we have to click on "Yes."
- Great! We have saved the formula in the OpenOffice.org 1.0 format.
