How-To: Save a formula as a math markup language file (.mml) - OpenOffice.org Math
- To save a formula as a math markup language file or as a "mml" file, first click on the "File" option here.
- Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "Save As..."
- Once the "save as" window appears, click on this down arrow here for the "Save as type" field.
- You should see a list of file types to choose from. Click on the option "MathML 1.01 (.mml)"
- Next, if you want to change the file name for the file you are about to create, click on this field here and type in the name you want. Otherwise...
- ...Click on the "Save" button here.
- A warning may appear telling you that some formatting and content cannot be saved in the format you chose. To save our file as a math markup language file however, we have to click on "Yes."
- Great! We have saved the formula as a math markup language file. Congratulations!
