How-To: Save a formula as an OpenDocument formula (.odf) - OpenOffice.org Math
  1. To save a formula in the OpenDocument Formula format or as an "odf" file, first click on the "File" option here.
  2. Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "Save As..."
  3. The "save as" window should open.
  4. Now, click on this down arrow here for the "Save as type" field.
  5. You should see a list of file types to choose from. Click on the option "OpenDocument formula (.odf)"
  6. Next, if you want to change the file name for the file you are about to create, click on this field here and type in the name you want.
  7. Afterwards, just click here on "Save."
  8. Great! We have saved the file as an OpenDocument formula. Congratulations!
