  2. Now, type in the first variable. In this case it is the letter "a."
  3. After leaving a space, enter the multiplication symbol that you want to use. In this case we are going to use the "star" or "asterisk" symbol for multiplication.
  4. Then, type in the next variable. In this case it is the letter "b."
  5. Great! We have entered the expression "a multiplied by b."
