- To enter the expression "a multiplied by b" first click on the Math commands window here.
- Now, type in the first variable. In this case it is the letter "a."
- After leaving a space, enter the multiplication symbol that you want to use. In this case we are going to use the "star" or "asterisk" symbol for multiplication.
- Then, type in the next variable. In this case it is the letter "b."
- Great! We have entered the expression "a multiplied by b."
