How-To: Enter a factorial function - OpenOffice.org Math
  1. To enter a factorial function, first place the cursor at the "math commands window" here by clicking on it once.
  2. Once the cursor appears, type in the word "fact."
  3. Next, type in the variable or number that you want to use for the factorial function.
  4. In this case we are going to use the variable "x." Type it in enclosed in "braces" or "curly brackets" as seen here.
  5. Great! We have entered the factorial function "x factorial." Congratulations!
