How-To: Enter the expression for the limit of a sequence - OpenOffice.org Math
- To enter a "limit of a sequence," first click on the "math commands window" here.
- Next, once the cursor appears, type in the word "lim" for "limit"
- Now, we shall enter the sequence for this expression. In this case we shall use the variable "x" to represent the sequence, and "n" to represent a number from that sequence.
- Type in "x sub n" enclosed in "braces" or "curly brackets" like this.
- The word "sub" in between the variables should display the variable "n" in subscript form, since it represents a single number from the sequence "x."
- Great! We have entered an expression for the limit of a sequence. Congratulations!
