How-To: Enter a Natural Logarithm - OpenOffice.org Math
  1. To enter a natural logarithm function, first click on the "math commands window" here.
  2. Then, once the cursor appears, type in the letters "ln." This should display the expression for a natural logarithm.
  3. Next, type in the "number" that you want to use for the natural logarithm.
  4. In this example we are using the variable "x." Type it in enclosed in a parenthesis like so.
  5. Great! We have entered a natural Logarithm function. Congratulations!
