How-To: Enter an "Nth root" function - OpenOffice.org Math
- To enter an "nth root" function first click on the "math commands window" here.
- Next, once the cursor appears, type in the word "nroot."
- Now, enter the "nth root" that you want to use. For this example we shall use the variable "n." Type it in enclosed in "braces" or "curly brackets" like this.
- Then, type in the expression that you want under the "nth root."
- For this example, we are typing in the expression "x+y." Just type it in enclosed in "braces" as well.
- Great! We have entered an "nth root" function. Congratulations!
