- To enter a "square root" function first click on the "math commands window" here.
- Next, once the cursor appears, type in "sqrt." This should place the square root symbol.
- Afterwards, enter the number, variable or expression that you want under the square root. Enclose it in "braces" or "curly brackets" like this.
- In this example, we are entering the expression "x+y."
- Great! The "square root" function has been entered. Congratulations!
