How-To: Enter a vector cross product - OpenOffice.org Math
- To enter a vector cross product, first click on the Math "commands window" here.
- Next, type in, or paste the first vector. In this example we are representing the vector using coordinates in a column, or a column vector.
- Take note that this is how the column vector is written in the command window.
- Good! As you can see the first vector has now been displayed.
- Next, type in the word "times" to place the "x" or multplication operator.
- Next, type in or paste the next vector. In this example we are going to paste in a row vector. Take note of how it is written here.
- Great! Our vector cross product is complete. Congratulations!
