How-To: Set the relation "a less than or equal to b" - OpenOffice.org Math
- To set the relation "a less than or equal to b" first click on the "math commands window" here.
- Once the cursor appears, type in the first variable. In this case it is the letter "a."
- Next, press space and type in the "less than" (<) symbol.
- Do this by pressing and holding the shift key and then pressing the "less than" key on the keyboard. Release the keys afterwards.
- Then, WITHOUT any spaces, type in the "equal" sign (=) using its key on the keyboard.
- Afterwards, press space and type in the next variable. In this example it is the letter "b."
- Great! We have entered the relation "a is less than or equal to "b." Congratulations!
